To aid in this endeavor, Eagon has designed a powerful gauntlet that can attune to these Threads of Consciousness, opening portals to the memories within. Players must step through these portals and venture into realms shaped by Zana's past, all while influenced by your own Atlas Tree, Scarabs, and Fragments. Your journey involves battling through a sequence of maps, pushing ever deeper toward the origin of this "Stream of Consciousness."

These memory-infused maps are not your typical mapping experience. They are populated by monsters imbued with "Memory Petals," which, upon defeat, transfer their power to you, granting a unique special ability for a limited time. As you progress through a Thread of Consciousness, the maps can manifest with Path of Exile 2 Currency Orbs multiple memories, allowing you to harness a growing arsenal of powerful abilities. Each map you conquer culminates in an Altar, offering a modifier that will apply to all subsequent maps in that Thread, creating a unique and escalating challenge.
