The Easter Egg offers a lot of rewards and challenges because it is part of the main game mission. It is important to note that the Easter Egg solution will not be detailed.  You should be prepared to start the Easter Egg Run. A checklist is available that includes information to be considered before starting:

 

 

 

 Guns/Equipment Recommended:

 

 Suppressors are a must for all weapons, but especially GS45. Zombies that die with a suppressor will drop more scraps which can be used to craft.

 

 Always have a weapon that can deliver high damage with a lot of ammunition. On a sidenote, the Raygun doesn't work on the boss.

 This guide will show you how to complete the tomb Easter Egg.

 

 

 Step 1: Unlocking the Map and going through the Door to Nowhere

 Begin by unlocking The Tomb. Continue playing until you reach the Underground Temple. Here, activate the crystal to access the Aether dimension through the Door of Nowhere.

 

 Step 2: Craft or Get the Ice Staff

 

 Ice Staff is one of the most important pieces in this Easter Egg. You can:

 

 It's in the Mystery Box! (This may take some luck or the Gobblegun Perkaholic).

 

 

 

 It can be made from three different parts.

 

 Monocle

 Headpiece

 Staff Base

 

 

 The following is an explanation of how to collect the parts.

 

 

 

 a) Monocle:

 

 Survive up to the Round 8 boss, a certain Shock Mimic.

 

 Beat the boss to get the Monocle. This tool will reveal hidden symbols on murals.

 

 b) Wall Murals that Activate:

 

 As you explore the Excavation Site, look for purple flames. Fire the flames towards the murals. But be careful because the flames can drip and damage the floor.

 

 c) Locate the Headpiece

 

 The next step would be to visit the Archer's mural in the Neolithic Catacombs.

 After following the orb, you'll be rewarded with a Headpiece as well as a much-needed Max Ammo boost.

 

 Find the staff base:

 

 The Bull mural is at the Grave site.

 

 The Staff Base can be collected by shooting the golden orb, activating the nearby fire, and then following the sequence of symbols.

 

 Step 3: Assemble your Ice Staff

 You can use C4 grenades or Monkey Bombs as distractions while assembling the Ice Staff on the stone structure of the Pack-a-Punch Machine. As soon as your staff is constructed, you can prepare to defend yourself against zombie attacks. Pack-apunch is close by so make sure to use it well to evade any zombies.

 

 Step 4: Advance the Ice Staff

 You should upgrade your Ice Staff in order to progress.

 

 

 

 a. Put out three flames:

 

 Use your Ice Staff to put out three purple fires within 10 seconds.

 

 Hit the flames with a normal weapon if you find that they are far apart. They will then spawn closer.

 

 Shoot Aether Stones

 

 You can find them by looking for glowing stones or Aether Stones in the Aether Dimension. They are usually floating above the Aether. Use your Ice Staff and shoot at them to reveal some symbols.

 

 

 

 c. Open a Portal that is Locked:

 

 Use the Aether Stones to reveal the symbols that you need to find a portal locked in both dimensions. Use your ice staff to shoot at it and unlock.

 

 d. Energize the Aether orb:

 

 After entering the Portal, activate the purple orb. Kill zombies as it moves around the map to charge the orb. You will need to restart this step if you fail.

 

 e. Transform and place your Ice Staff

 

 To upgrade the Ice Staff, place it in the middle of your map on an altar.

 

 

 

 Step 5: Completing Aether trials

 After upgrading your Ice Staff, you'll be required to complete four trials involving statues that are located in various dimensions. Each trial includes certain tasks.

 

 

 

 Infestation Trial with Spiders

 

 Use your staff in order to activate the healing beam of the Spider Statue.

 

 By defeating spiders, you can obtain a Crystal and complete certain tasks.

 

 Parasite trial (Flies)

 

 Activate Fly Statue and claim crystal.

 

 While avoiding damage, capture 10 purple energy orbs that Parasites drop.

 

 Doubleghast (Two Head Zombies:

 

 When standing in the beam zone, defeat enemies to activate the statue.

 

 Amalgam Trial (Red Zombies):

 

 Activate it and then defeat the Red Amalgam in order to charge its crystal.

 

 Don't forget to return each crystal to its designated statue once you have completed it.

 

 Step 6: Dispose of the Artifact

 The final challenge consists in a multi-phase fight with The Artifact. The breakdown for each part is below.

 

 

 

 Phase 1 – Divide The Artifact

 

 The Artifact is a laser-based weapon that can be used to destroy zombies.

 

 During the vulnerable phase of its life, try to break it up into five pieces.

 

 Phase 2 - Kill the selected Zombies

 

 Red markers are used to identify and kill zombies. Blue marker zombies do not exist and should be ignored.

 

 

 

 The Last Stand - Phase 3.

 

 Artifacts will be exposed to a final attack following the northeast shift.

 

 Gunpowder weapons can be used to engage your teammates and deal the maximum amount of firepower.
