Arc Raiders Anvil Powerful Weapons Ranked for PvP and ARC Guide

Jump into Arc Raiders lately and you’ll notice something straight away – the whole game feels like it’s revolving around one weapon. And yeah, I’m talking about the Anvil. It’s everywhere, and if you’ve got it, you’re in control. You could be running the best loadout in the world, but without that rocket launcher, you’re already at a disadvantage. It’s got huge splash damage, can drop someone in one hit, and locks down whole areas. If you spot one lying around, grab it before anyone else does – it’s that important. Trust me, it’s as vital as stocking up on ARC Raiders Items before a big fight.

S-Tier – Overpowered Picks

Anvil: No real debate here. It’s the king of the sandbox. One rocket can change the outcome of a skirmish, and with its massive area damage, it’s brutal in tight spaces. Teams fight over it for a reason – whoever controls the Anvil usually controls the match.

A-Tier – Strong Choices

Bastion: This shotgun is perfect for close encounters. Step inside a building with one and you can clear it in seconds. Sure, it’s useless at range, but that’s why you pair it with something else. Volt: The SMG that melts people. High fire rate, great for aggressive pushes, and deadly up to medium range. Harbinger: Snipers love it. Land a headshot and you’re guaranteed a down. The bullet speed makes hitting moving targets much easier, so it’s brilliant for locking down open sightlines.

B-Tier – Reliable Workhorses

These are the weapons that won’t break the game but can still get the job done. Standard assault rifles, LMGs for laying down suppressive fire, and burst rifles for precision bursts. They’re fine, but if you go head-to-head with someone holding an Anvil or Bastion, you’ll probably lose unless you’ve got the drop on them.

Gear and tactics matter just as much as weapons. The Kinetic Shield is a lifesaver – it can absorb a hit that would otherwise end you, even from an Anvil. For mobility, Grapple Hook is unbeatable. You can swing into cover, reposition fast, or make a surprise push. In PvP, everything comes down to how you deal with Anvil users. Don’t stand in the open, and listen for that distinct rocket sound. The best counter? Force them to fire and miss. Once they do, they’re stuck reloading for what feels like forever – that’s your moment to rush in with a Bastion or Volt. Always keep moving, keep cover close, and think about angles before you peek. And if you really want to stay ahead of the curve, you might want to buy ARC Raiders BluePrint to fine-tune your setup.
